Chris works in London and represents the Chertsey St Ann’s ward on Runnymede Borough Council. He is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Overview & Scrutiny committee and also sits on the Housing and Community Services Committee. Chris feels strongly that decision making should be devolved to the local level and that the residents of Runnymede should decide what goes on in their community.
What does a Councillor do?
Councillors are elected to represent the views of the residents who live in their ward. They are responsible for running, monitoring and developing council business. In addition to this councilors assist with local projects and act as a point of contact for residents who require help or assistance. If you would like to get in touch with either myself or one of my fellow councillors please find details of how to do so in the ‘contact me’ section.
